This bill is being considered in the Ohio General Assembly. It permits teachers in public schools and state institutions of higher education to provide instruction on the influence of Judeo-Christian values on history and culture. The panel analyzing this bill is composed of educator-scholars from the religious traditions of Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and Christianity. It is co-sponsored by the Multifaith Council of NWO and the UT Philosophy and Religious Studies Program, the Center for Non-Violence and Democratic Education, and the Program in Law and Social Thought.
